Due to many requests we received as a result of this weeks Live YouTube show (Tuesday With Tami and Sometimes Tom) on the Nutmeg Notebook YouTube Channel, we are resending the exclusive subscriber recipe message with the download link. On Tuesday I demonstrated the Curry Ginger Butternut Squash soup in the video (You may have noticed I forgot to add the almond milk in the video – that is what happens on live cooking demonstrations!) and we are getting many requests to resend the link to the exclusive recipes as many of you received it a while back and now are not able to locate it. It could be in your junk email folder and might land there again if you have not added us to your contact list.
Tom sent the exclusive subsribers message email with the link for the recipes out again this morning to everyone who is subscribed to the blog! If you don’t see it in your email in box then check your Junk email folder as it might be in there. Please add us to your contact list so future emails will arrive in your email box and not your junk email folder. As you saw in the video having a powerful hand blender like the Mealthy one makes easy work of blending this soup into a creamy velvety texture. The Mealthy company sent me the stick blender to try and I have been using it for a month or so and I really like it. As you know I only promote products that I really like and that I use. You will always get my honest opinion about a product. I turn down many companies products because they are not the quality I am looking for. I am always looking out for mine and your best interest. We are delighted to be Mealthy Afilliates. Here is our link to the Mealthy Main Website please use their product drop down menu to view all of their wonderful products. If you order direct from Mealthy you can use our $10 off discount code by entering NUTMEGNOTEBOOK in the discount code box on any orders that are $59.95 or more.
When you purchase products using our affiliate links it helps support our work here and on YouTube without any extra cost to you. We appreaciate your support.
It’s a beautiful soup so perfect for fall entertaining and elegant enough to serve at your holiday gatherings. It’s easy enough to make for a weeknight meal as well. So many people have written to tell me that it has become a regular menu item for them. Me too! I love to have a side of Crispy Air Fried Smashed Potatoes and I can cook them right in my electric pressure cooker using my Mealthy Crisp Lid that turns a 6 or 8 QT pressure cooker into an air fryer! So when Tom is cooking something in the Breville I can still air fry using the Crisplid – it works great! You can watch my Mealth Crisp Lid demonstration and read the blog post.
You can serve it up piping hot in mugs as your guests arrive. They can sip on it (no need for spoon) while you are putting the finishing touches on the meal. Or you can include it as the first course in a bowl sprinkled with a little fresh chives on top. I usually make a double batch in my 8 QT Mealthy Multi Pot pressure cooker. It also freezes beautifully! You can choose to serve it over whild rice or brown rice and top it with some fresh arugula – yummy!
In addition to the delicious soup recipe you will also get my Strawberry Balsamic Dressing recipe that contains no oil and is made without nuts. You can choose your favorite plant milk to make it with. It is absolutely delicious and so easy to make. You will love the change of flavor and the variety it adds to your salad. Subscribers are loving this dressing as well as my Creamy Balsamic Dressing.
In this weeks Tuesday with Tami (and sometimes Tom) Live YouTube video I showed you how to make crispy crunchy no oil hashbrowns! They go really well served alongside the soup.
In case you missed the Live YouTube Video here it is!
