Balsamic Cherries & Peaches

Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces fresh or frozen organic cherries – no sugar added
  • 16 ounces fresh or frozen organic peaches – no sugar added
  • 2 tablespoons 4% acidity Balsamic vinegar – flavored or plain

Instructions
 

  • Place all ingredients in a medium size saucepan over a medium heat. Bring to a boil and then turn down to a simmer for about 5 minutes. Serve warm in small dishes with a garnish of freshly grated nutmeg if desired.

Notes

Serving suggestions; can also be served over banana nice cream, waffles or pancakes. Give it a dollop of vanilla plant based yogurt and top with a little granola. Use as a topping for overnight oats or a hot bowl of oatmeal.
