In an 8 inch baking pan or smaller or larger depending on how much garlic you are roasting. Place the garlic along with 2-3 tablespoons water.
Cover the pan with foil or a glass lid if it has one.
Bake until golden brown and soft. Checking every 15 minutes to make sure there is a little water in the bottom of the pan to prevent it from sticking and burning.
Once cool, divide into small portions and freeze in freezer safe containers.
It will last for months when properly stored in the freezer.
